THE SIMPLE VERSION

You should know what you’re buying before you upload a statement.

Choose transparent interchange-plus pricing for maximum potential savings, or simple flat-rate pricing for predictability. We can compare both against your existing statement and show you the numbers before you switch.

PRICING WITHOUT THE GUESSWORK

Two plans. One straightforward recommendation.

Both options include the same independent companion workflow, equipment program and support. The difference is how processing is priced.

Easiest to predict Simple Flat

One consistent processing rate

2.79% + $0.10 per transaction

A simpler statement and more predictable pricing. Flat rate can be easier to budget, but it is not always the least expensive option.

  • $16.99 monthly account fee
  • $0.10 per batch close
  • Best fit for owners who value simplicity and predictability

BUILT AROUND THE COUNTER

Payments that fit the way a shipping store actually works.

SSC Pay installs as a standalone Windows companion app alongside PostalMate. It recognizes the active PostalMate payment screen, selected tender and amount due, then sends the card-payment request through Payarc Connect to the configured PAX terminal. The cashier remains in control and completes the PostalMate sale only after SSC Pay displays the final approval.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Questions store owners ask before switching.

Which pricing plan is less expensive?

It depends on your interchange, card mix, transaction count and average ticket. Interchange Plus often offers the lowest potential cost, while Simple Flat is easier to predict. We compare both using your statement.

Are there any other recurring fees?

The advertised core fees are the processing rate, transaction fee, $16.99 monthly fee, $0.10 batch fee and the PCI program renewal after year one. Network, gateway, exception, chargeback, equipment, shipping, tax or third-party fees may apply when disclosed in the applicable agreement.

What happens after the free PCI year?

The PCI compliance program is $99 annually after the first year. Merchants remain responsible for completing required validation, questionnaires, scans, training and remediation on time.

How does SSC Pay work alongside PostalMate?

SSC Pay is a standalone Windows companion app installed on the store’s PostalMate computer. Using Windows UI Automation/Accessibility, it recognizes the active PostalMate payment screen, the selected Credit Card or Text2Pay tender and the visible amount due. SSC Pay then sends the payment request through Payarc Connect V3 to the configured PAX terminal. The customer completes the terminal prompts, SSC Pay displays the final result, and the cashier finishes the matching PostalMate sale only after seeing PAYMENT APPROVED. SSC Pay does not connect to or modify the PostalMate database.

Does SSC Pay change my PostalMate database?

No. SSC Pay does not use direct database access to read, write or change the PostalMate database. Staff still completes and reconciles the sale in the POS after payment approval.

Is the first terminal really included?

One PAX A35 terminal is included for qualifying new merchants who switch and are approved. Additional equipment, accessories, shipping, replacement or service charges may apply when disclosed.

Is there an early termination fee?

The advertised SSC Pay program does not require a long-term processing contract. Review the complete merchant agreement for notice requirements, equipment obligations and all account terms.

Do I have to switch to receive a statement review?

No. The review helps you understand your current costs and see whether an SSC Pay option appears beneficial before you decide.
